Crystals, as we know, are full of energy. To keep that energy fully charged and functioning in its most beneficial way, crystals need to be charged. Luckily, charging crystals is very easy and there are several methods you can use to do it.
- Sunlight and moonlight.
Place your crystals outside or on a windowsill for 24 hours or more, preferably in the full moon.
Be warned: some crystals coloring fades in the sunlight. Turquoise, amethyst, kunzite, opal and celestite should be treated with caution in the sun. If you’re not sure, stick with moonlight cleansing.
- Plant energy.
Stick your crystals next to a growing and flourishing plant for 24 hours.
- Charging grid.
Place 6-8 quartz crystals in a circle and point them inward. In the middle of the circle, place the stone you want to charge and leave it for 24 hours.
- Use charging stones.
Some stones have the ability to charge others. Place the crystal you want charged on or near a cluster or bigger piece of amethyst, selenite, or quartz.
