You guys know how I feel about smoothies, don’t you?
I’m obsessed.
OBBBBBBSESSSSSSSSSED.
So when I find a new smoothie recipe I like, I tend to hold onto it for dear life. I make it over and over and over again until the people at the grocery store start eyeing me suspiciously… I mean, I get it. There are a limited number of things one can do with so. Many. Limes. Though this recipe takes the non-alcoholic route, I promise you, it’s just as addicting and delicious as margaritas.
Today I bring you my recipe for Cherry Limeade Smoothies like what you’d get at Sonic, but way healthier for you.
You’ll need…
- 1 cup of pitted frozen cherries
- 1 mango
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- the juice of 1-2 limes (depending on your tart tolerance)
- 3/4 cup almond or soy milk
- Optional: 1 heaping scoop of Greek yogurt, but you can leave it out to leave it vegan. 😉
Combine all ingredients in a blender until well mixed. Enjoy!
