Welcome back to another session of Crystals 101 with your’s truly! Today I’m going to talk about the importance of where you place your crystals around the home to optimize their energy.

As we know, crystals are solid bits of energy made by millions of years of concentrated pressure onto different types of rock. (Or at least that’s how I’ve come to think of them- concentrated, solid bits of energy.) Crystals come in all different shapes, sizes and textures, and they emit differing energy frequencies. For example, rose quartz is aligned with love and the heart chakra, while yellow citrine brings about productivity. Just about any piece of the human existence where one might need help, from health to career to relationships, there’s a crystal for it.

A lot of times people who collect crystals will keep them in one place. While I’m not knocking this method, and I did it for a long time-I had a very powerful corner of my bedroom-I don’t believe it is the most effective way to utilize the energy of the crystals.

Since crystals are aligned with different energies, and rooms are aligned with different activities, it makes sense crystals aligned with the energy or intention of the room should be in that room. For example, I do a lot of work from home in my den, so I put yellow citrine (for productivity, remember?) on a bookshelf in there. It made no sense to have the productivity energy in my bedroom when I’m at my least productive in there. However, I have rose quartz (intended for love) on my nightstand because, well, duh. 😉

“Alright, Steph, so what crystals should I put where?”

Glad you asked! It’s really simple- just think about what sort of energy you want to feel in each space. Crystals for love, positivity, health go in the bedroom, crystals for productivity in the office, crystals for confidence and truth by the front door… use your judgement and put your crystals where they feel best to you, keeping their intentions in mind.

I’m not exaggerating when I say my house was more comfortable after moving the crystals. It was almost unbelievable, so you’re just going to have to see for yourself. 🙂
