November Goals

I started writing this post on Monday, thought I had saved it as a draft, and when I checked on Wednesday to complete it, it wasn’t there. So here we are, on Friday the 6th, finally talking about November goals. Better late than never, right?

Here’s my list… what do you have planned to accomplish this month? Let me know in the comments!

  • Stay out of Internet comment sections.
A few things I’ve noticed about comment sections on the Internet: everyone believes their opinion is right, everyone wants to argue said opinion, and no one is backing down. As a sensitive person, I pick up too easily on the negative people commenting. I’m too easily caught up, and my mood can be temporarily altered after reading some negative comments. People can be so cruel behind their keyboards. I can’t beat them, so I may as well ignore them.
  • Yoga 3-5 times a week and work towards inversions.
In order to accomplish inversions, you have to have a strong core. My core is not as strong as my legs, so I’ve got some work to do. Having an asana in mind I’d like to reach during my practice motivates me to get on the mat, and I’d like to practice 3-5 times a week like I used to.
  • Hot water with honey and lemon every morning.
It’s an alternative to waking up with a cup of coffee that is said to clean your digestive tract much better than coffee could. It is also said to have many other health benefits. So far, I’ve been enjoying the energy it gives me in the morning without the mid-afternoon crash, but I will be posting again at a later date with my total review of the ritual.
  • Blog 3-5 times a week.
    Pretty self explanatory.
  • Have a rocking good time visiting my friend in West Palm Beach.
This one won’t be hard to accomplish 😉 remember when I said I had a trip in the process of being planned? Here it is! I will be visiting my longtime BFF in her new home in Florida! I leave on Wednesday, and will be back that Saturday. A quick trip, but we’ll definitely make it count! While I’m down there, we will be accomplishing our longtime friendship goal of visiting Harry Potter World at Universal Studios together. Ahh! I’m so excited.

I think this is a good list! It’s important to me to stay motivated and energized throughout the month of November, since it sets me up for December and the remainder of the holiday season. I’m looking forward to Thanksgiving (my first as a vegetarian!) and even early morning shopping on Black Friday (I’ll share my tips on how to get the most out of that without being trampled later). Then comes a plethora of birthdays (mine included!), Christmas and New Year’s, and then I leave on vacation to Costa Rica! So much to look forward to in the coming months.

I hope you all have a wonderful day! Until next time, namasté.
